Data Deletion Request
Last updated: June 25, 2026 · Chativo by Arbind Digital Solutions
You have the right to request deletion of personal data that Chativo holds about you. This page explains what data we hold, what will be deleted, what cannot be deleted for legal reasons, and how to submit your request.
Who Can Submit a Deletion Request
Deletion requests may be submitted by:
- Chativo account holders — Registered users who created an account on app.chativo.in
- WhatsApp contacts — Individuals whose phone number and messages were stored by a business using Chativo
- Authorised representatives — Persons acting on behalf of the above with documented authority
Deletion rights for Indian residents are also protected under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You may also raise a grievance with our designated Grievance Officer (see Privacy Policy Section 14).

Self-Service Account Deletion
Chativo account holders can also delete their account directly from within the application:
- Log in to your account at app.chativo.in
- Navigate to Settings → Account
- Scroll to the Danger Zone section
- Click Delete Account and confirm
Self-service deletion removes your account and all associated data within 30 days. If you need confirmation of deletion or have issues accessing your account, email us at privacy@chativo.in.
Facebook / Meta Data
This page serves as Chativo's Data Deletion Instructions URL as required by Meta's Platform Terms for applications using the WhatsApp Business API and other Meta services.
If you authorised Chativo to access your Meta Business Account (for example by connecting a WhatsApp Business Account), you can also revoke access and request deletion of Meta-derived data by:
- Submitting a deletion request to privacy@chativo.in (as described above)
- Revoking app access via your Meta Business Settings → Business Apps
- Disconnecting the integration from Settings → Integrations within app.chativo.in
Upon receiving a deletion request, Chativo will remove all data received from Meta APIs — including WABA IDs, phone number IDs, access tokens, and message content — within 30 days, unless retention is required by law.
Automated Meta Deletion Callback
Chativo implements Meta's required Data Deletion Callback as part of our WhatsApp Business API compliance.
Deletion Callback Endpoint
https://app.chativo.in/api/meta/delete-callbackThis endpoint processes deletion signals from Meta's platform. When triggered, it verifies the HMAC SHA256 signature from Meta, then initiates automatic deletion of all Meta platform data (WABA IDs, access tokens, phone number IDs, message content) for the associated user within 30 days. A confirmation code is returned to Meta upon receipt.
